Love looks like so many things. It’s wrapped up in running marathons as well as being surrounded by adorable nephews and excited about a little niece being added to the clan. It’s trips to Colorado to listen to music in the mountains, and sitting watching the waves crash in the ocean. It’s watching each other succeed, and it’s encouraging each other about the uncertain horizon. It’s proposals. It’s weddings. It’s vows. But most importantly, it’s that feeling in your soul when you know you found the person you never want to live life without.

Cal Poly produces a lot of amazing couples; Ali and Ryan are no different. And I am so thankful that post college years these two were able to stay in the area. The joy and love these two have for each other and their families is so refreshing – (I know you probably hear me say that a lot, but I truly love how important families are to my couples). As we talked about where to take their engagement photos, Montana de Oro happened to be a favorite place of theirs; and in my opinion, it’s one of the most gorgeous and adventurous settings in the area. In the midst of our unique rainy season this month, we were blessed with a gorgeous blue sky and some of the most remarkable waves I’ve ever seen.
