Cass Winery hosted my first wedding after moving to the coast. It holds a special place in my heart and I always love returning back to photograph wedding day celebrations there. Cass winery’s setting is relaxed, gorgeous and every view is constantly captivating. It has that perfect mixture of luxury and rugged all wrapped up with some of the best wine in the county. Leah + Bret did well when choosing to have a Cass Winery wedding, however their connection goes a lil deeper than mine. Leah’s family has been good friends with the Cass family since her father’s college years and it was an instant location when deciding where to get married.
This Colorado couple planned their intimate vineyard destination wedding and I was lucky enough to be their photographer. I need to express now that my words can not do justice for what an honor it was. Leah + Bret are one of those couples you instantly feel comfortable around; as if you want to grab a drink and sit for hours talking about life, love and philosophy. Being able to spend the day with them, documenting their and their family’s story on this day brought so much joy. The loved ones that surround them instantly reflects how amazing these two are. One of the best wedding parties and two of the sweetest families (I kinda want to be adopted in). Their day was perfect. So romantic and classic, with so much to celebrate and be grateful for.
Small intimate destination weddings are my favorite. From the toasts, to the ceremony, the first look, to the celebration and dancing – everything about their wedding was full of so much love and such touching moments.
