I went to school with Rachel back in Chicago. She was focusing on food photography while I was focusing on… …chairs. But never mind that. When Rachel came in one day and told me about this guy Mike – I knew something was different. Sure enough, a bit after we graduated from Harrington, he put a ring on her finger. Rachel called me with the news of their engagement and asked if she could hire me to at least photograph the “formal pictures” of she and Mike, as well as their wedding party. She insisted on keeping me as a guest – and only picking up my camera in between the ceremony and reception. I laughed and told her there was no way I was going to not photograph every moment possible – as long as she would let me. Rachel is one of the classiest people I know – and rightfully so, she produced one of the most gorgious weddings that any photographer dreams of. Rachel – I feel completely honored to have been apart of your wedding day. Mike – you have one amazing woman. But I know you didn’t need anyone to tell you that. Love to you both and can’t wait to see where life takes you!!!
